In line tapping capability – eliminate handling and feeding costs between your press and the machine.

PRONIC has introduced the first “In-Line” tapping machine to further improve your part production output and reduce your production and handling cost.

The machine was featured in the December 2004 issue of Metalforming magazine.

Even if developed to be installed in-line with the press, the machine can also be configured for use as an off line machine.

Completely modular, the PRONIC tapping machine is customized to your specific application. It includes high-performance servo-driven tapping device(s), a fully automatic feeding system with sensing devices to monitor the tapping quality.

The parts can be fed independently or with their carrier whereas in this case, a cutting-off station will be added to the machine. Other operations can be added upon request.

Virtually, there are no longer speed limitations when attempting to reach your output target.

Very compact, these machines are designed to minimize floor space, can be moved easily with the die to another press when necessary.

Different parts with different shapes can easily be tapped within the same machine just by changing the module that holds the part.
