These units are 100% mechanical, with adjustable gearboxes. The units are manufactured with a detachable tapping head and can be used for single or multiple tap applications. They are uniquely designed to simplify handling during tap change and maintenance.

The detachable heads are custom made according to the specific applications in order to minimize the necessary room in your tool for the tapping station.

The transmissions or drive shaft modules can be dissembled and used for other applications to reduce the investment on new dies.

Replace tap quickly

PRONIC tapping units use standard rollforming taps, which you can find at your local industrial products supplier or direct from PRONIC for high quality taps.
 
Slide the unit In/out of the die in seconds

With its main body built out of aircraft aluminium, PRONIC unit is easy to slide in/out. Thanks also to the Quick Installation Kit delivered. It makes the die design easier, it is “plug and play”.

The detachable head can be slide out seperatly from the transmission, which makes it even easier for the operators. Set up time is reduce to the minimum.
