	TAPPING UNITS VERSIONS ACCORDING TO YOUR REQUIREMENTS

These units have been studied to integrate the commonly installed functions in the die directly and compactly in the tapping head.

According to the proposed version, the turnkey «TK» solution integrates the following functions:

- Strip guiding,
- Vertical strip follow (strip lift),
- Quick approach of the tapping head and strip piloting.

	TK-N = Basic tapping unit

• Simplified motorization fixed on the lower shoe.

• Lightweight head for easier operation.

• Adjustable gearbox.

• Integrated tap lubrication nozzles.

• Secure cartridge.

• Quick installation kit included.

• The tapping station is set-up by the toolmaker.

	TK-S = TK-N + Strip following

TK-N version...

+ Built-in strip following function on the tapping head quick installation kit.

+ Built-in strip guiding.

+ Optional lower shoe.

• The tapping station functions are setup by PRONIC.

	TK-A = TK-N + Quick approach and strip piloting

TK-N version...

+ «Rapid approach of the tapping head» function actuated by a cam.

+ Optional strip piloting.

• The tapping station is setup by the toolmaker.

	TK-D = TK-S + Quick approach and strip piloting

TK-S version...

+ «Rapid approach of the tapping head» function actuated by a cam.

+ Optional strip piloting.
